Visada is an innovative deep-tech B2B Insurtech startup based in Italy. We believe that anti-fraud isn’t a matter of rules or alerts, but of a deep understanding of the damage and the context in which it occurs. That’s why we build technology designed to address the real complexity of claims, not to artificially simplify it. Our goal is to make anti-fraud reliable, scalable, and usable every day.

We envision a future where the goal is not just to identify fraud, but to manage insurance risk as a whole. A future where anti-fraud and prevention operate on a large scale, allowing companies to clearly distinguish fraud from non-fraud. Because knowing what isn’t fraud is just as important as identifying it. This means reducing uncertainty, avoiding unnecessary friction, and managing the portfolio with greater peace of mind, continuity, and control.

Mission

Making risk readable

Our mission is to help insurance companies prevent costs and risks before they arise, transforming anti-fraud from a reactive activity to a structural capability. We develop proprietary computer vision models that analyze vehicle images to identify suspicious damage and anomalies in the early stages of a claim. This supports faster, more objective, and evidence-based decisions, reducing financial losses and operational complexity. Technology at the service of impact. Not an end in itself.

Approach

Build, don't assemble

At Visada, artificial intelligence isn’t a wrapper and isn’t created by integrating external components. We start with scientific research, rethink architectures and pipelines, and develop and train our models internally. We closely monitor academic developments and rapidly transform advances into production-ready systems. This approach allows us to move faster than legacy or third-party solutions and continuously adapt to constantly evolving fraud patterns. Building from the ground up means control, depth, and the ability to evolve over time.

CEO

With over 20 years of experience in claims assessment through Studio Capolupo, Angelo brings direct and concrete knowledge of insurance dynamics to Visada. His role is central to connecting technology to the real needs of insurance companies: processes, operational flows, fraud cases, and day-to-day constraints. This closeness to the industry guarantees Visada credibility, market access, and a vision grounded in operational reality.

CTO

A computer science engineer with a master’s degree from the Polytechnic University of Milan, Giuseppe drives Visada’s technological vision. He is responsible for the core architecture of the DAFNE platform and AI models, focusing on scalability, reliability, and integration into enterprise environments. He combines applied research, software engineering, and cloud infrastructure to transform technical complexity into operational solutions.

Head of R&D

With a background in Electronic and Computer Engineering, Nicola brings strong experience in cloud-native development, deployment automation, and applied AI. At Visada, he co-leads the development of DAFNE and the evolution of the research roadmap, translating complex requirements into concrete, maintainable solutions ready for large-scale production.
